Free part number diagram maker

Break a part number, model code or SKU into its parts, say what each part means, and get a diagram with the leader lines drawn for you. It runs entirely in your browser and exports SVG, PNG and JSON.

Open the tool Desktop browser, no sign-up

The editor. On the left, the part number CBL-2M-RJ45-BK-S with one button per character, and cards for writing each item. On the right, the diagram assembled from them, with buttons to save SVG, PNG and JSON.
Write on the left, read the diagram on the right.

What it does

The bundled fonts cover Japanese and the Latin alphabet, accented letters included. Korean, Cyrillic and Thai have no glyphs here, and the tool says so on the spot if you type one. The editor's own labels are still in Japanese; the guide names every button in English.

Who it is for

What it does not do

Where what you type goes

Nowhere. Everything happens in your browser, and what you make stays there. To move a diagram to another machine, export the JSON and carry the file.

Examples

Three fictional part numbers, each with an explanation of how it was put together. Import the JSON and edit your way from there — usually the quickest start.
